Cryw Cymraeg
Our Cryw Cymraeg are a group of pupil leaders who promote the use of Welsh across Gorseinon Primary School. They lead a weekly assembly, sharing Welsh language activities and key phrases to encourage confident, everyday use of Welsh throughout the school.
Siarter Iaith – Silver Award
The work of our Cryw Cymraeg has played an important role in supporting the school’s progress towards achieving the Silver Siarter Iaith. This award recognises our commitment to embedding Welsh into daily school life and developing a strong Welsh ethos, helping pupils build confidence and pride in their language and heritage it is one of our targets on our School Development Plan.
